A well hung door:
01
Computer controlled parts machining
"CNC (Computer Numerical Control) technology is key in our door manufacturing, emphasizing precision routing for exceptional quality. This method accurately crafts each component, from hardware mortices to predrilled screw holes, with precision +- 1 thousandths of an inch... this is less than the width of a human hair (1/500") and ensures seamless assembly. The CNC routing not only guarantees the fit of each part but also creates flawless decorative profiles on the doors. These true and crisp profiles facilitate an easy application of finish, eliminating the need for extensive fairing and filler, and contribute to the door's aesthetic elegance and structural resilience."
03
Design methodology
Central to our doors' design is the solid MDF flitch core, expertly enclosed within coped stiles and rails. This structure not only lends a genuine, high-quality feel but also enhances the door's durability. The combination of flitch and stile-rail construction ensures remarkable strength and stability, effectively resisting material distortion in varying humidity levels. Each door, adorned with a double ogee profile on its panels and stops, brings refined sophistication to your space.
02
Fine finish
A standout feature of our doors is the advanced Italian 2k water-based high-build primer from Renner. This primer, pre-applied and sanded to a 320 grit smoothness, readies the door for any paint, ensuring a flawless finish. The '2k' in the primer indicates a two-component system, which combines the primer with a hardener for enhanced durability and resistance to environmental factors. This primer excels in moisture and vapor resistance, and its compatibility with various waterbased/solvent primers and topcoats offers you extensive finishing versatility. Its also more environmentally friendly than solvent options.
